Jeremy Stephens says patience was the key against Sam Stout
UFC 113 triumphant Jeremy "Lil' Heathen" Stephens discussed his main card bout against the Canadian Sam Stout, revealing that his hard work and patience paid off by winning the fight. By outpointing Sam Stout in a Unanimous Decision, Jeremy Stephens achieves a second consecutive victory inside The Octagon and improves his record to 18-5.
Twenty-three year old Stephens made his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut at UFC 71 three years ago, losing to Din Thomas via Submission. Lil' Heathen currently trains at the San Diego-based Arena MMA Team, alongside Diego Sanchez, KJ Noons, Cyborg Santos and the BJJ legend Xande Ribeiro.
