Omoplata News: Brock Lesnar and Wanderlei Silva training for their UFC 116 fights

UFC Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar and the legendary Wanderlei Silva released short highlights videos of their preparations for the long-anticipated UFC 116 event. Lesnar will headline the card in his Heavyweight Title defense against the undefeated knockout machine Shane "The Engineer" Carwin, as Wanderlei Silva will look for consistency against the Korean-Japanese Judoka Yoshihiro Akiyama.

The Japanese starlet prepares for the fight at his recently opened a new gym in Hiroo, Shibuyaku, Tokyo. The 'Akiyama Dojo' has MMA and Judo halls, with some of the top Japanese fighters helping Sexyama's "Team Cloud" in his preparations for Wanderlei Silva.

Also on the card, Krzysztof Soszynski will rematch Stephan Bonnar, Chris Lytle will fight Matt "The Immortal" Brown and the Australian Georges Sotiropoulos will look for another impressive performance against Kurt "The Batman" Pellegrino. UFC 116 is scheduled for July 3rd, taking place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
