Dan Hardy meets Dustin Hazelett at UFC 119 in England

After suffering the first loss in his Octagon career, Dan Hardy will look to get back on the winning track as he has agreed to face Dustin Hazelett at UFC 119 at a location in his home country of England on September 18.

Sherdog.com reports that sources close to the negotiations have confirmed that both fighters have agreed to the bout at a tentatively scheduled fight card in the U.K.

This past March, Dan Hardy (23-7) became the first fighter out of the U.K. to receive a title shot in the UFC after winning his first 4 fights inside the Octagon with notable wins over Marcus Davis at UFC 99 and Mike Swick at UFC 105, but his recent streak of success came to an end when he was on the losing end of a lopsided unanimous decision loss to Georges St-Pierre at UFC 111 in Newark, New Jersey as ‘The Outlaw’ was unable to land his patented left hook in what was a very long 25 minutes for the young Brit striker, but he will look to correct that with this next fight.

Dustin Hazelett (12-5) also had a recent 2 fight winning streak snapped earlier this year at UFC 108 when the submission specialist was knocked out viciously by Hardy’s teammate, Paul Daley as Hazelett has since been out of action recovering from nasal and orbital surgeries up until now as Hazelett also looks to improve on what he needs to correct in order to remain successful in the UFC.

Once news has been determined as to where the event will take place, we will be right here to keep you further posted.
