In a must win fight for different reasons between Michael Bisping and Dan Miller they meet up at the UFC co-main event of the evening as Bisping looks to get himself into the hunt for a title shot while Miller looks to get off a tough skid.
From the start of the fight, surprisingly Miller decides to sty on the feet with ‘The Count’ as he is somewhat comfortable standing in the pocket and getting some shots in the process, but Bisping with his gameplan has Miller right where he wants him as he begins to pick apart the Whippany, New Jersey native with punches, kicks and good foot work.
In the second round, Bisping lands some heavy right handed bombs on Miller, but still does not go down as Miller continues to stay inside and deal punch for punch with Bisping which is not panning out as Bisping has the edge.
Miller gets a takedown on Bisping, but may have proven to be too late as Bisping who is tough to take down and hard to keep down gets back up to his feet and gets away from Miller with another solid right hand to break free and continue his assault on the feet and even though Miller tries for one last gas, the bell sounds as this fight also goes to the judges scorecards.
And as a decision is made, the judges score the fight in favor of Michael Bisping as he gets back on the winning track and looks to move up the middleweight ladder again, while Dan Miller could be on the firing line to lose his spot on the UFC roster.
