Tonight the UFC 114 main card features a heavyweight bout between young prospect Todd Duffee and well traveled veteran Mike Russow and all was looking well for the young 23 year old American Top Team phenom, but ended badly.
Throughout the fight, Duffee is landing some very heavy handed shots, but Russow has a very tough chin and continues to fight on as he tries to reset and make something happen constantly.
Duffee appears to have hurt his hand as he lost some pep to his step, but is still in control of this fight for the most part as the fight goes into the third and final round.
It appears that Duffee will remain unbeaten as Russow has no answers to make anything happen, but Todd Duffee did not know that as he continued to cruise on, Russow found the only opening he needed and landed a vicious straight right hand that stunned Duffee as Russow followed it with another right hook as he is flat on his back as Russow gets the unexpected third round KO for the win.
Unimpressed with his performance, Russow wants to get back on the drawing board, but still remains unbeaten in his Octagon career after just two fights while Duffee suffers the first loss of his MMA career.
