UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson "The Spider" Silva shared his thoughts about the upcoming UFC 117 main event fight against Chael Sonnen, and his performance at UFC 112. Silva came under heavy criticism from fans, and especially the UFC President Dana White, who intends to cut the P4P King in case of another "hit-and-run" performance.
Meanwhile, Middleweight Title Challenger Chael Sonnen continued his verbal assault on Silva. Sonnen addressed the Champion through his Twitter account, saying that "The Spider" will be on his back "more than a pornstar with a mortgage" and referring to Rich Franklin "I'm not a math teacher from Ohio, I'm a gangster from Oregon".
UFC 117 is scheduled for August 7th, taking place at the Oracle Arena in Oakland, California. Welterweight bout between Thiago Alves and Jon Fitch will serve as the co-main event of the evening.
